Boeing, Goldman Sachs share gains lead Dow's 250-point jump

Behind positive growth for shares of Boeing and Goldman Sachs, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Monday afternoon. The Dow DJIA, +0.68% was most recently trading 252 points higher (0.7%), as shares of Boeing BA, +3.25% and Goldman Sachs GS, +3.34% are contributing about a third of the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares have risen $7.11 (3.5%) while those of Goldman Sachs are up $12.78, or 3.3%, combining for an approximately 131-point boost for the Dow. Intel INTC, +3.32%, American Express AXP, +2.82%, and Visa V, +2.18% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
